Post Christmas

Meet "Hazel" (name is still in limbo), she is the new addition to our counter top. I got "Hazel" from my parents. She is a gorgeous bowl lift metallic chrome Kitchen Aide Mixter and I love her.



I thought I'd also share a photo of the blingin' shot glasses my sister and I made for her friends.

Babies and Love

I took photos this morning of a woman from work, Becky and her daughter Olivia. They're a suprise Christmas present for her husband. This camera really makes such a huge difference. When there aren't many technical difficulties, you get a lot of really nice SHARP photos. It's beautiful.

Children

I haven't posted in a while because it's finals week. As soon as finals are done I will be posting photos of the LOST action figures we got in the mail last night. Those will be much more exciting. Little kid pictures will do for the moment.

Jack Sparrow

This is my cousins' dog Jack (named after Capt. Jack Sparrow). I like cute pet pictures just as much as everyone else.

Christmas Shoes

I love Christmas and Pin-Up Photography. Why not intermingle the two? This field is something I am very serious about getting into. I even applied for an account at Model Mayhem to find possible models. I've found Fashion Photography to be very satisfying. At Columbia we're taught to think about our idea so much, we eventually exhaust it. I love that when I am shooting a concept much like this one I am shooting at a very fast pace. The only thing I think about before I shoot fashion is the look. The compositions come with camera in hand. I think this is why I am also passionate about Wedding Photography.
